We are seeking a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Machine Learning team at Notiv™ in Brisbane. You will be working on a variety of machine learning tasks involving speech and language processing. As one of our early hires, we are seeking someone that is highly motivated to work in a start-up environment and grow with the company. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and who loves constantly learning, staying aware of new advances in the field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 1+ years relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with machine learning theory and experience using common ML libraries.
  • Python and C/C++ software development and testing on Linux systems.
  • DevOps familiarity desirable.
  • Domain knowledge in audio, speech, text and/or natural language processing desirable.
