Full-stack Engineer
On-site Brisbane or San Francisco / Remote
As an early lead engineer at Notiv™, you will be responsible for helping to shape the foundation of our product and the front and back-end technologies that power it. We are an early stage startup so we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and positive individual who is excited about solving problems for people in elegant and iterative ways. You will be working in close proximity to our intelligence team so an interest in machine learning is a big plus.

As an early lead engineer at Notiv™, you will be responsible for helping to shape the foundation of our product and the front and back-end technologies that power it. We are an early stage startup so we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and positive individual who is excited about solving problems for people in elegant and iterative ways. You will be working in close proximity to our intelligence team so an interest in machine learning is a big plus.
Requirements
- Experience as a full stack engineer; with a deep and demonstrated experience building web frontend components in JavaScript (ES6 classes, web workers, promises, etc). Our front-end is built on our own isolated design system powered by React + Styled Components.
- A deep understanding of backend functionality with experience building in Ruby and preferably Rails or a similar MVC framework.
- Experience working with AWS and/or Google Cloud environments a big plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning theory a big plus.
